postpartum hair loss?

I lost TONS of hair after surgery over 2 years ago. I lost hair for about 3 months before it finally stopped.  I lost 2/3 of my hair easily. Luckily I had very think hair, but I thought I was going bald. I wasn't looking forward to a postpartum shed because my hair was just recovering from that, but it still happened. My baby is now almost 5 months old and I've been losing hair for 2 months now. Massive amounts of hair again. More than is my previous pregnancies. Did anyone else  lose as much hair post partum as they did post surgery?

I'm loosing way more hair post partum than I did after surgery. My baby is 3 months old and it seems like my hair is falling out by the handful! I'm not too concerned, it seems about that same as with my pre-WLS pregnancy with my twins but it's still shocking.

after surgery I lost a little hair, but nothing like what some people experience, not sure if it's a VSG thing or if I was one of the "lucky ones".

I am also losing my hair worse than post op! Thought it was just the change in hormones added to the lack of calories.
