Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

We had a pretty good month. WE had a lot of "timed" fun and are now sitting on DPO27 - im not going to Pee early. My AF starts June 1 and i'll give a few days after and see how it goes ....

welcome back.  For your list you can currently take me off the TTC#2.

We are 6ish weeks :-)  with our first Dr. appointment on the 7th

Welcome back! We're still trying. Thought this month may be it, I was a week late but AF showed up with a vengence Thursday and is kicking my butt. I'm beyond frustrated but these things take time. We'll try again next month!

So sorry. This journey sucks, but oh so worth it. Keep positive thoughts okay!
