YAH i'M PREGNANT.  (Thats the Good)

Food is not my friend.  I never had Morning Sickness with Austin so this is a new experience for me.   Nothing sounds good and if I don't eat it makes it worse.   (thats the bad)

Constipation:  Need I say more.. ( thats the UGLY)

Advice:  What foods did you take in to 'get you moving' and help with nausea?  I'm thinking some kind of fiber bar or fiber cereal?  But I still need all that calcium and protein.

How about a little cup of Oatmeal? (not that instant crap!) Bland, filling, full of fiber and possibly a lil calcium and protein if you add in milk or butter.

YAY!

BOO! I had horrible Morning (who are we kidding - all f'in day sickness!). Oyster crackers were my best friend. Eat 2-3 every 10-15 minutes and it is just enough to keep something in your pouch and keep it settled. Also, keep hydrated! The more fluids you drink the better. It'll also help with the constipation! Maybe there's a little girl growing in there! :)

I took I think colace - ask the Dr. religiously through my pregnancy. Frui****er and moving will also help!

PS - Austin is going to make an awesome big brother!

Those Fiber Bars work wonders..... my parents visited and left a box in my pantry. I ran out of breakfast foods one day and had one. Afterwards I read the label...  I wish I had found them while I was pregnant!

I have fiber one cereal and bars! They were my life saver after the baby was born! The percocet they gave me made it even worse! So I would say stock up!

as for the morning sickness, take Unisom. seriously. it will help settle your stomache to let you eat. I had 24/7 with my first 3 and that was the ticket. Its an oldie and goodie remedy. Drs are the ones who suggested it to me and my WIC ladies did too. WORKED wonders!! no fooling!!
