what the heck?

k so im on the nuva ring for bc and my cycle is pretty regular, last month because of an insurance issue i was 4 days late putting the ring in, and in the 2 weeks after my period we had sex pretty much every day..... well i took the ring out saturday on schedule and my period should have started sunday, its now wednesday and no period, and no cramps or pms like symptoms like i usually get the day or so before aunt flo arrives. ive peed on 2 dollar store sticks yesterday and today and they both say no.... i have a friend thats gonna give me a digital test and i think i should wait a few days to test again, im just super nervous because #1 im only 10 months out, #2 i was diagnosed with precancer of the cervix in january, and #3 im supposed to put a new ring in this weekend and i dont know if i should if i could be preggers uggg oh yeah and i dont have an obgyn right now because i fired her over how she treated me with the precancer thing ..... HELP! 

First of all, I know a lot of ladies swear by dollar store tests, but as I sit here with baby #2 kicking me in the ribs at 37 weeks pregnant, they aren't always reliable. I got several negatives until I was like ten weeks. I like the Target brand ones ... they work well and early.
Anyway, 4 days is a lot of late with a Nuvaring and all that lovin. Just sayin ... Given your two top concerns, I would, in the future, be more careful. Again, just sayin. If you are late, I would think it would be okay to test now ... Keep us posted.

I'm not a fan of the dollar store POAS.  Either way, keep breathing. You'll be fine.  It is more optimum to get pg after your weight loss has stablized.  However MANY women on here got pg within the 1st year after their WLS.  It can get a little more complicated, but it is totally possible for both momma and baby to make it through just fine.

As far as finding a new OB... I would suggest asking your bari surgeon if he/she knows a good OB who understands VSG.  Most OB's dont understand WLS and if they do, it's typically the RNY that they know since it is the most common WLS and has been around for >30 yrs. 

I'm sorry that you're going through this right now... esp after the pre-c diag in Jan.  Keep breathing.  you'll get through this with grace and ease!

OH... and CONGRATS on a fantabulous weight loss so far!  Doing great, girl!

 so took a digital test with first morning pee and it said not pregnant, there was a bit of blood so i thought i had started my period,also had some cramps today, but after the first tampon no more blood so im thinking it was just post sex spotting... so im still a bit confused. i figure ill just wait it out and eventually one way or another it will be obvious! oh and good news i found a new doc, not sure how much she knows about weight loss surgery but she is willing to discuss the option of vbac for our future baby and willing to finish my treatment for the pre c cells.
