We have a baby!!!!!

We have a baby! Halle Kate arrived at 3:13 pm on May 23. She weighed in at 6 lbs and 13 oz. I was attempting to have a natural delivery, but my contractions were coming every 2 minutes apart and I was only 3 cm dilated when I got to the hospital at 7:30 am. At 9:30 am, I got Nubain through IV and an epidural at 10:15. Things went fairly smoothly from then on, epidurals are GREAT!!! I had so been against getting one, but let me tell you, it was wonderful. I pushed for about 35 minutes, had to get an episiotomy because I was starting to tear (this was the only bad part - my epidural had worn off by this point and I felt the episiotomy!!! Not fun) - and then she was here! Head full of dark hair.
