Drs appt
Well, I knew when I went in today that we were going to discuss whether or not to induce.....but the decision was mostly made for me. The baby passed the NST, but took forever to pass the biophysical profile ultrasound because she didn't want to move while they were looking at her. I am continuing to lose weight, and she didn't gain much this week. In light of this, my dr said we would induce next tuesday, the 24th. I was sure hoping to go into labor on my own....but the dr is concerned to let the baby keep going if she isn't getting any bigger, and having her healthy is the most important thing. I am now 60% effaced, and 2 cm dilated. He said she was very low. His words were "I doubt it will take you long at all, because she is just right there". He said he wouldn't be surprised if I didn't go on my own before Tuesday. Please help me pray that I will!!! I'm excited...but so nervous!!!!

I hope you go before the 24th. Sounds like you are diffently on the way to having that baby. If you do end up being induced just know it is for the health of your little one and you will get to hold her all the sooner. Good Luck!

Get a list going of all the things people say start labor and get busy - you've got about 6 days to work on them!
Walking, raspberry tea, sex, evening primrose oil, nipple stimulation...I'm sure there's more.
Good luck!

I went in to be induced...they give me the cervidil (to dilate my cervix) and I went into labor! Never got the pitosin, and just in time for my epidural. Less than an hour of real labor. Praying that you have a wonderful labor and delivery experience! Here's to your seeing your little one real soon!
I've got you in my prayers Leslie.... I wish you all the best!!!! Tuesday is still awhile off, you may very well go into labor on your own. But, the fact that you're already 60% effaced and 2cm is a dilated would make induction very favorable as well!!!
Take care!!! Try not to worry! You'll soon have the little one in your arms!
Very best wishes!
