Layla's Baby Sprinkle (pic heavy)

Yesterday my Momma hosted a gorgeous shower in the Garden Room at the club where my husband and I were married. It is a special venue for us as many family members & friends have been married here, so it was really special to celebrate Layla with a sprinkly here, too! We had a tea (so all my momma friends could enjoy a lunch without their darling babies and get to chat and enjoy a mimosa!) and the tables and food were just gorgeous. The centerpieces are tiny and unique flannel baby quilts my mother made and hung in ivy topiaries. Each guest went home with a bone china tea cup full of chamomile and chocolate. What a wonderful day! Aaaand I actually posted a pic of DH and I at 35 weeks pregnant.

Those decorations are gorgeous! What a beautiful shower & very elegant looking. You are adorable too (I never saw a pic of you before)

Thanks, Chelle ... I have never posted a pic of me before. I'm weird like that. It was a really nice tea ... I am very grateful for such a generous Mom and Gramma.

LOL..I read it fast and thought you named the baby sprinkle and they were pictures of the baby!! WOW..what a beautiful day adn set up!! And I agree..I thought you would look like your avatar picture..totally opposite!!!!!
