Enfamil users Past & Present...
Hey girls! So, I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has or had their baby on Enfamil Newborn? The reason I am asking is because in just 2 short weeks, Landen will be 3 months old and will need to switch over to the Enfamil Infant formula. How did you go about transitioning being that it's mostly the same formula minus the Vitamin D in the newborn version? I'm going to put a call in to my Pediatrician to double check with them (it totally slipped my mind at his 2 month appt with us moving that following day and all), but I was wondering if anyone has gone through this and how the baby did?
Thanks so much for any help!!

I am about to change Blake over to the infant one as well. The newborn box says 0-3 months, but that means to the end of three months. I read that somewhere in their literature. He is four months today so we are going to switch as soon as I run out of the newborn. I'm nervous too because I tried him on Good Start a few months ago and that was a total no go. I guess if there's much change I will switch him bac****il his tummy tolerates it better. I'm hoping that the structures are similar enough that there won't be any issues. I'll let you know!

Hey Tracey- thanks for the info. I just got off the phone with Enfamil and you are in fact correct. They said it's good til they turn 4 months and the lady said they recommend transitioning however my pediatrician recommends, but they have seen little to no problems with transitioning because almost all the ingredients and textures are the same from the infant to the newborn versions- minus the added vitamin D that is so very important in the first 3 months. They were really helpful and are even going to send me some information in the mail along with some extra coupons for some more of their product. Landen was started on the Good Start on day 2 in the hospital, but he absoloutely hated it! Took him home, gave him enfamil I had received free in the mail and he took right to it. He is little to no puking and spitting episodes, so it has been wonderful. I had to give up my WIC formula vouchers because they would not cover anything other than Good Start because of their contract with them and he doesn't have any special scrip- it's just his taste preference. My pediatrician helped stock me up with samples along with my aunt. She recommended getting him thru til he turned 6 months and then trying to switch over since he will then be incorporating some baby foods as well.
Thanks again and I for sure look forward to hearing about your transition face with Blake :)
