Scheduled induction 5/27!!

Two weeks girls!! TWO WEEKS!! ::Does the happy dance:: If Liam doesn't come earlier. I had my OB appt today. Everything is great.. besides me being sick.. stupid runny nose and cough. So my OB had offered inducing me at 39 wks if I wanted due to arthritsis making it painful for me to keep working my 12 hour shifts at the hospital and just moving around in general. I debated about it and decided to go ahead and schedule it. I am so excited to actually have a date that is semi set in stone! I say semi cause he might decide to come earlier. Dr said my cervix is very soft and starting to dilate..though nothing to get excited about at this point. But she did say things are looking good!  WOOT! ::Happy sqeak!::

Woohoo! I remember that feeling of picking out the date! Only a few more short weeks and you'll have your sweet little one in your arms. YAY! Can't wait to hear all about it and see pics of the new little guy! :) And will be praying that everything goes smoothly and you and baby will be just fantastic!!!

We are very close in dates.  I have 3 1/2 weeks until my due date.  Actually have an u/s today to see the size of baby cause I'm measuring bigger.  Kinda hoping they will either induce early or schedule a C - want him born before May 31st.  (fingers crossed)

I know! We are neck and neck! What did your U/S say today?  I have my last one tomorrow. Liam was only 4.lbs 2oz at the last one 4 weeks ago. They said he should be 6-7lbs by D day. Did you ask if you can be induced at 39wks? My dr said they don't need a medical reason to induce at that point plus you are measuring big so they tend to induce for that if desired.

Just got back from u/s and all went good :)  baby is measuring about 6.3 lbs which is a bit above average (which I guess is better than below)

No I did not ask if they could induce at 39 weeks.  Never thought of it.  I'll mention it at my next appointment on Monday.  Sure would be nice.

Make sure you update after your u/s tomorrow.  I'll be looking for it!! 

Yea!!  I cannot wait until I am that close.  It won't be long before you are holding your little guy.

On a side note:  Love the name you picked out.  That is also the name that hubby and I picked for this baby.

So exciting!  Your life will never be the same after that!
