Am I wrong for celebrating Mother's Day even though I am not holding my baby in my arms yet? If so, OH WELL!!! Hubby and I sure did celebrate! People were like 'This is your last mothers day not a mom'...I'm like Forget that! I AM a mom!!

Anyway....My brother sent me a mothers day gift in the mail yesterday and it brought tears to my eyes. We have a great relationship and it makes me happy to know how excited he is to be an uncle! I'm glad he got me this baby's first year frame because I would have NEVER thought of something like this!  I love my big head little brother!!!

And here is a pic of my brother and his and wife and then me and my love! I have a rainbow family! This was before surgery so I don't look AT ALL like this anymore! When I see old pics of me I am amazed!!  Anyway I love my brother!

That's awesome! And mother's day is all about family. You don't need the world to tell you it is ok to celebrate family!

Channel,

That is awesome!
I made a large scrapbook page for Logan's first year and framed it.
That frame your brother got you; it is so sweet.
You have always been a Mom...just been waiting for the Great Spirit to delivery it at the right time.
Enjoy, this time...continue to build and cherish your self and look forward; you have it!

10 weeks!? I feel like your pregnancy is flying, even though I'm sure you dont feel that way lol.
What a great gift, you are lucky to have such a thoughtful/supportive brother & family.
and no, I don't think you're crazy for celebrating Mother's day, enjoy every moment of this pregnancy/journey, you deserve to after all your hard work girl!

Super cute!!! For mothers day I took my belly and son to chuckee cheese (my husband had to work) - and I had a few people comment how I was the only mom there on my own.

I simply said if it wasn't for my son, I wouldn't even get the joy of being a mother - seeing him so happy and crazy made my day.

You're right though - you ARE a mog xI am glad to know you had such a great day and have such a wonderful family-

Aww, you are totally right to celebrate mother's day because you are one! I like what a PP said ... you've always been a momma ... just waiting for that sweet baby to make her appearance! You are so blessed to have your brother support you so much ... you must have an amazing family! xo

Sweetie you are NOT wrong for celebrating what you are "a Mother". The only difference between me and you being mothers is you're taking great care of yours who's inside for right now and mine is outside, nonetheless we both are Mothers and taking care of our babies (wink). I love the pic frames! Good luck sweetie.
