sharp pain near belly button early pregnancy sign?

Hey there!  Did anyone feel sharp pain near their belly button early on (I'm about 5 years post RNY, so i know the weird gurglings and pains that usually go on, but this is different)... i mean if i am pregnant, it's only like by a week or so,, but wow, i got this sharp pain sometimes (not often) to the left of my belly button,, i said something about it to a coworker today who is pregnant and she said she felt the same thing, then i googled it, and apparently a lot of women do,, never ever knew that was a sign before,,,, ok, just curious. sandy

 Your Uterus is way below your belly button at the beginning of a pregnancy.  Usually belly button issues creep up between 13-20 weeks depending on what # pregnancy you are on.  So this is basically the first time I have ever heard of that as an early pregnancy symptom.  If you are hoping to be pregnant I hope it is!! :-) Best wishes!
