How long did u wait for another pregnancy?

Just wondering what everyone else did. My baby girl is only 4 months old today. My son was adopted and he is 3 1/2 years apart from my daughter. I think too far apart in age to enjoy each other at this point. I want another baby which would make my 2nd pregnancy now that I can conceive and carry full term. What's a good amount of time in your opinions to wait for next baby? Was it harder to have another baby sooner than 3 years apart for you? Not sure why I am having these feelings of wanting another baby so soon? Tell me your experiences...

come oct ill have 3 under 3... jayson and jaylyn are 17 month apart.. and jaylyn and ?? will be 19 months... i cant say that it was hard in the beggining... because really it wasnt... it was sort of organized chaos... now its much harder that they are both walking and talking and have irish tempers of their own... so im sure this time around it will be much harder... but!!!! by the time im 50 all my kids will be out of my house!

I don't have any experience but I am interested to see the responses.  This baby and my daughter will be almost 12 1/2 years apart.  This baby isn't even here yet (about 8 weeks left, yea!!) but I am already thinking about another one.  Hubby isn't so sure yet but he's thinking about it.  But we are not getting any younger.  He just turned 40 and I'm 32 which isn't old but I am really wanting to do quite a bit of plastic surgery later on and I want to be completely done with breastfeeding.  So I would like to not wait too long.

This October I will have 3 under 3. Max and Sydnee are 18 months apart, Sydnee and this baby will be 15 months apart. At times it is hard but I love it!

I really miss being pregnant. Not sure if that sounds weirod but I am being honest! If I could just stay pregnant and not end up like the "Duggar" Mom I probably would, LOL! Okay maybe I'm fibbing a bit...I loved being pregnant up until the last 2 weeks of pregnancy, that pretty much sucked after 37 weeks or so. No, but for real, I want at least one more baby as well and I will be turning 32 in a couple of months so I am not wanting to wait too much longer as well. What was hard besides just being exhausted I'm sure? Do u feel like you can't give each child your attention? How was grocery shopping trips? I'm a very organized person so I'm sure my OCD ways would just go down the drain. Also! I have zero family support besides my Hubby. So I am worried about this, but I think I can handle it still. Just wondering about others take on it. =)

they get equal but different attention .. does that make sense?.. they are on totally different levels... jayson needs different things then jaylyn... but either way- they both get alone time with me.. ocd will go down the drain ( somewhat) .. i also work 40+ hours a week... so i would rather spend a few hours playing with them then cleaning... organization is a must!

This is my first pregnancy and it took me years to conceive so we have a plan, but who knows if its what we will do or not?  lol.  Anyway, I'm due in 3 1/2 weeks.  I'm 33 an my mom went through menopause at 36.  I still have a good deal of weight to lose, but my MD has recommended that if I want more children that I shouldn't wait very long.  Sooo, with that being said, our plan is to wait until she is around a year old, which will put me just turning 34 to start trying again.  I also hope that in that year I can lose a little more weight.  I have always wanted 4 children and had always planned on them being 2-3 years apart, but I learned over the past 8 years that things don't go always go as planned....because if they did, I'd be having my last child about now, not my first!

Think about what you can handle....it's not a crime to space the kids out so they can each get some more individual attention when young. They will all love and learn values from each other regardless of their ages.
Everyone can handle it differently. I know I would be a wreck with a house of small children. I enjoy my sleep and free time too much. I realize I am a better parent when I have less responsibilites.

My daughter was born exactly 18 months post op from my RNY. her and this baby will be 16 months apart.  We had planned about 18 months, but....stuff happens!! I am so looking forward to them being so close in age!

My husband and I wanted ours close, but this is it for me. (at least for 3 years) if this baby is a boy, we are done for good. lol
