On Lovenox and apparently being induced early?

My regular OB is on holidays so I went to see a collegue in her office for my appt today. She said I'm not sure if your Ob told you but she will be inducing you a few days before your due date because your on the Lovenox.  I am totally fine with that as with my other two boys i had to be induced after they were late anyways. Anyone else been told this. oh and i am on lovenox due to my WLS post surgery blood clot.

I was always going to be induced early because I was on lovenox. I was swicthed though from lovenox to heparin around week because heparin is shorter acting and can be reversed where as lovenox could not be. :)

 I was on Lovenox due to a genetic mutation and was induced 2 weeks early.  I had to switch to Heparin 2 weeks before my induction since it has a shorter half life in the body.
