I believe I'm a trooper but yesterday I was sick all day, from 6am to 10pm. I woke up with it again this morning and I am not looking forward to going to work with this! Short of a prescription, what are some things that have worked for you to remedy morning sickness? So far I've tried saltine crackers and Sprite to no avail.

I have had horrid horrid ms with both babies. The only think that worked was eating a little bit of food and Zofran. This baby's ms is sooo much worse than Bella's morning sickness. Just remember ms is good it means your hormones are rising.

Cheryl,

I so feel your pain.  I was off work for 4 months due to extreme morning sickness.  I had to resort to a ****tail of meds - Gravol, Diclectin, and Zofran.  Even with the meds, I still have trouble some days, but I am no longer in bed for days at a time with it - only hours.

The tips given are all great.  I try to mae sure that I always have something in my stomach - I eat a little something every hour/hour and a half.  I get sicker if I don't eat or go too long between my meals.

Another thing to be wary of is too much built up sugar and not enough protein in your system.  Try to get protein in whenever you can and limit simple sugars.  Also opt for whole grain breads and pastas if you can stomach them.  I find the Smart 16 bread helpful because it has the taste/texture of plain white bread, but is full of whole grains.

I wish I could have gone without meds, but there was no way.  I wish you all the best and hope it passes quickly!

Thank you ladies for all your suggestions! My OB started me on Reglin which led me to feel worse and I then got Zofran. So far so good!
