I feel like this is appropriate...

"I will mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that." ~Martin Luther King Jr

For the record, I support our troops, our president and I am relieved this horrible person is not on this earth anymore.  But I am a little sad about how thrilled people are about the murder of someone else.

I'm sure anyone that lost a loved one on 9/11 will always remember the footage of that creep hugging and kissing his family & buddies after new**** that the 4 planes went down.
What really bothers me is how many people knew about this plan before it happened, and could have maybe picked up a phone and made a couple calls? Wives, family members....someone who knew about this horrid plan and felt the slightest twinge of guilt?
The whole thing is very sad.

as an advocate of peace I had posted this same quote on my FB page.

I am relieved that justice has been done and send loving energy out to those who have lost someone from the hands of this man.  I hope it can bring some closure.

Blessed be.

I love the quote and I agree that the celebration of the loss of life seems excessive, however, I think it's wrong to classify what was done to him as murder.  I think that's an insult to the brave men who carried out this mission...they are by no means murderers.  Osama bin Laden was a murderer many thousands of times over.

I saw that but I don't think the person  who said it matter really.  it's the sentiment.

Actually it is just the first sentence that is false, the rest of the quote is most definitely MLK's words.

Yes, you are correct.  :)  My post was not meant to criticize...I too find the words powerful, however, I choose to give credit to the woman who wrote them.
