How did you pick your OB GYN?

Well I choose my certified midwife though my sister who just loved her with her 1st child.  My midwife works out of an OBGYN office known with great doctors.  I started seeing her over 15 years ago for my yearly physicals because she made me feel totally comfortable and always made me feel good about myself and put a smile on my face every time!  At the time, she was about a 40 minute drive from my house (and gas prices were much cheape!).....she is now closer to an hour from my house, but I couldn't imagine seeing anyone else through my pregnancies and will soak up the cost of gas because she is worth it!  This will be my 4th baby she helps me deliver as long as my water don't break.....if that happens I will have to go to a closer hospital because I tend to go VERY fast once that occurs and would probably not make the hour drive to the hospital she delivers at!  I just hope and pray that I start with contractions and deliver with her at the hospital I delievered all 3 of my other children and had great experiences with!
