Made it to 2nd Trimester!

 I am firmly planted in my 2nd trimester.  The fatigue and nausea are still there but seem to be waning.  I finally came clean over Easter to everyone and they are ecstatic.  Had a shocker this morning when the pants I wore yesterday wouldn't button!  I had to unwrap the Belly Band to make it to school today.  That made this pregnancy more real.

My hypoglycemia seems to be better managed or my hunger is also waning.  I don't have to eat every hour like I was 2 weeks ago.  Every 2 hours seems to do me now.  I gained 3 of my 4 pounds lost back, so my OB and Endo should be very happy.  

My NT scan results were good.  Down's was 1 in 4100 births and Trisomy 18 was less than 1 in 5000 births.  Very good numbers for my age.  My anatomy scan is scheduled for June 9th, so hopefully we can find out what Cletus the Fetus is!  

We bought our crib on Amazon.com on Sunday.  I'd been watching this crib for about a month and it had a $100 price drop so we had to take advantage of it.  Plus it was free shipping so we only paid $198!

DH is gearing up for finals so he asked me to make a Honey-Do list to start the 2nd week of May.  It already has 25 items on it for him to do.  He won't let me do any lifting or excessive bending over and I'm taking full advantage!

Yes I would be taking full advantage of the hubster now too. Sounds like what my husband would do for me too. We are blessed to have such great husbands

What does the crib look like?  I bet you are just counting the days until the 20 week scan.

 The crib is cherry wood and has an attached changer with 2 drawers.  Our nursery is has odd walls so we had to maximize the space.  One wall is completely windows and I don't want to put the crib in front of it.  The other wall is completely closet.  The third wall loses about half the space when the door is open.  So only one good wall to put the crib.  My only requirement with getting baby items is that the crib and car seat be firsthand.  Hubby gave me a budget of $300 for the crib so I saved $100!  I wonder if I can spend it somewhere else!   There is a link below

Yay for you! I SO can't wait to be in my second tri! I still have the full month of May til I get there. (May 31st to be exact). I am counting down the days til I hit that mark! Congrats to you!

How exciting!  How many weeks are you now?  Our due dates must be very close as I entered into my 3rd trimester last week!  We have our anatomy scan on May 31 and hope to find out what we are having then!  I also had the down's and trisomy 18 testing....but haven't heard anything (thinking now I should call)....but she did say that if all looked good, they wouldn't call, but send something in the mail.......if it didn't look good, they would give me a call within 3 days (been a week now)......so I'm thinking all is good and I know they said the skin on the back of the baby's neck looked normal....but had to match up to blood work.

Having a helpful hubby is wonderful!

YAY congrats!!! Everything sounds like it is going well! Are you hoping for a boy or a girl?

 Is it wrong to say I don't honestly care? 
 
I have a feeling it's a boy.  Everyone else that knows I'm pregnant thinks it's a girl.  This may be my one and only, so I'll be happy with whatever I get.  My one and only because I don't know I can go thru this again.  It's been rough!

Of course you can just be happy to get a baby..boy or girl. I just loved the tutu's and helping with my god daughter I wanted my own little girl. But I have been getting use to having a boy now and everyone tells me how much little boys love their mommies.

And I SOOOO know how you feel about thinking this might be your one and only. I am going to need a few years to forget the worst parts before I am ready for another.
