WOW... That is amazing and congrats on your baby girls... That is wonderfull progress thus far. I figure that I will be home for about 12 weeks and I am pretty good at getting on track and losing my weight so I pray I can after the baby. And yes it is def going to be worth it.

Hi

Congrats to you for all you have done :-).

I don't know about the plastics side as I knew I wanted another baby and was waiting to get everything done after Bug was born.
I'm 23weeks and so far have gained 3lbs. I do have some troubles eating and eat more richer foods (creme caramel) for my snacks to up my cals. Even though I have only gained a small amount I do freak out about it thinking it will go out of control and all my weight will come back on again. I then freak out that I haven't put on enough for Bug.
You sound like you know what you are doing and even if you do put on over the "set amount" you can work to get it back off once your LO is born.

Best wishes

Thanks so much for the response and I wish you the best during and after your pregnancy. I definitely think I can get back on track after the baby, I absolutely did not want children but I am soooo happy that this has happened to me, I feel so blessed. I am willing to undergoe more surgery in the future but for now I guess I need to focus on being healthy and taking care of the baby.

Hi,

Congrats!!  Like a few other ladies here, I don't know much about the plastic surgery part but I do know about the pregnancy part.

I got PG with my daughter when I was 3 months post surgery.  At that time, I had lost about 50lbs then continued to lose an additional 40 lbs then stablized at 225lbs during the last couple months.  She was born perfect & weighing in at almost 6lbs.  I lost an additional 30-35 lbs very quickly after her birth (didn't breastfeed or exercise,etc.).

Since then, I have gained some weight back (most of it over the last 1 1/2yr due to being out of work, etc), so I was about 220lbs.

I got PG again this past Oct. and actually lost about  10 lbs (just due to the baby, not m/s or anything).  I have just started gaining those 10 lbs back in the last couple weeks.  I admit, I know it is hard to accept the weight gain.... even though I know it is baby.  Also, my eating hasn't always been the best but I also try the 80/20 rule.  I'm hoping that over the next  2 1/2 months, I don't gain more than another 10 lbs but it will be what it is supposed to be.

Suggestion.... just eat what is good for you & want.  If you need something 'bad', just have a small amount so that it helps your cravings.  Try not to be too hard on yourself & enjoy your gift!!

i as 15 months post-op, and 185 at the begining of my pregnancy.. (not my goal weight) I continued to loose weight throughout my pregnancy down to 165.. and then i started to slowly gain. After the birth (5 weeks ago) I am at 168 now.

i've heard if you arnt at your goal weight, you ill often loose during pregnancy since you arnt taking in as much calories as needed for the pregnancy, and the baby will take what it needs from you (causing weight loss)

Wow.. That was interesting to have it happen like that and it all worked out, healthy baby and at your goal weight now, I know that it is all up to me and I am going to try my best to get through this... Thanks so much.
