Preggers and Question's about HCG levels

Hi guys,


im almost  2 years out from surgery....me and my husband after 7 months of really trying and the use of Letrozole....we finnally got a BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Dr  called me yesterday and said my levels were 590.....and  congrates......I couldnt question  anything cause she called me as I was sitting  beside my father...lol and well I didnt want him to find out that way. Iv looked up HCG lev els on here and it really gives you such a HUGE window....Im not  so sure if 590 is good. I really cant say how far along I am....Im guessing about 4 weeks.....5 the most. My periods are all over the board and with the letrozole....sometimes to O later then sooner.  With it being good friday.....Its not like I can call  my DR and says.....iS THIS GOOD????? i know I  should be jumping for joy....but Im  so scared to even get excited. (Was preggers  a few years back but lost it due to low HCG levels) Anyways.....thanks so much if anyon can help me  :)


BTW it was my normal Family dr that called me and not my fertility dr! If it was my fertility dr I wouldnt be so.....worried!!!! But my family Dr isnt so great!

That's a good number. Calm down!! Have your levels checked in 24 to 48 to make sure they are doubling. There is no set number that we all have it can vary so much. I have heard women have 10000 at 4 weeks and some 300. So be happy you are pregnant!!! Congrats!!

like she said.. there really is not a set number.. as long as it doubles every 48ish hours... the further along you get the longer it will take to double.. congrats and welcome!

Ditto what they said.. but I just wanted to add my results when I first did my HCG between 4-5weeks was 550. I am now 34 wks. Congrats!!

Did you try calling your doctor mine was open was there once again today try calling....numbers sound good though.

HCG levels are only really helpful when you have at least two different counts. Basically, if they are going up that's what matters. WHAT the level is isn't nearly so important.
