scared!

Ive watched this board for a very long time, and my daughter is 6 months old now.  I had the mirena put in 6 weeks post partum and everything was great until I had to get a biopsy on my cervix.  I'd had a lot of abdominal pain, occasionally so bad I couldn't walk...well they said it was probably because the mirena iud had embedded into my cervix and fallen out of my uterus.  Needless to say they took it out and the pain went away. I immediately went on the Nuva Ring which I used a few years ago.  After about a week, the irritation it was causing me was too great, and I'd developed a yeast infection.  The itch was unbarable..was horrible, so I took it out.  I just recently moved counties and my medicaid does not switch til the beginning of May.  They could make my daughter an appointment bu tnot me.  Well my boyfriend and I got a weekend away from my daughter while my sister watched her, and made a big mistake! I didn't even think about it til later because I was so used to being on birth control, and we'd had a few drinks.  I am not about a week late for my period. 2 days ago I took a pregnancy test but it was negative, and was wondering if my cycle is just messed up from the nuva ring and i took the test too early or if my period is just ridiculously late.  Any experience or words of advice?

I'd say, wait a few days and take another test.  I personally take a really long time to get a positive home test... at least one week past my missed period with both of my pregnancies.
