OT - Got married yesterday & my first baby bump pic
A very long story short, I got married to the life of my life.............for the second time! Yup, we were teenaged sweethearts who became parents at 17 and 19. We struggled off and on until we decided to tie the knot in 2003. We were 31 & 33 and our son was 13. After 2 1/2 short years we were both dealing with untreated depression (mostly related to our inability to conceive) and destroying each other so we made the decision to divorce. Our son, then 16 was FURIOUS with us and rightfully so. About a year after the divorce was final, both of us having used that time to get ourselves straightened out we ended up back together. He has been a pillar of strength during my journey for weight loss. Both before my decision to have surgery and now.
When we found out we were expecting we were in shock! We had been using 2 forms of BC despite the fact that we both were told that our fertility issues could not be counteracted. Our son had JUST turned 21! So here we are today, as in love as we were 24 years ago and starting a new chapter! Funny how things work and how blessed we are!
