Introductions
Hi everyone. I wanted to formally introduce myself after "stalking" this forum for months.
My name is Gwen and my hubby and I will be TTC as soon as I get the go ahead from my doc. I meet with him next month and hopefully he will say give it a go.
My husband and I have one son who is 6 years old. I had RNY June of last year, mainly for medical purposes. I had extremely bad GERD and my esophagus was being eaten away. I was obese but did not have a high enough BMI to qualify for surgery alone so my doc had to fight the ins. company to get them to cover it. I feel 150% better than I have in a very long time.
I am currently only 3lbs away from my goal (surgeon never gave me a goal) and looking foward to adding to our family, but, also scared at the same time. I had a bad pregnancy with my son (ended up on bed rest for 2 months for pre-term labor) and then ended up with an emergency c-section after 4 days of labor (ended up being induced after all that).
Anyway I just wanted to say hi and I look foward to sharing this journey with all of you.

My son is eight years old we tried for 6 years to get pregnant nothing had my surgery and waited 19 months.We were given an OK to get pregnant and only took us four months.My hubby and I were sitting there saying well it only took four months let try when this one hits a year old again and low and behold I go in and we have twins.I will be 24 weeks Monday and I'm on bed rest tell I hit 28 weeks.I had a cerlclage put in to hold my cervix closed.It didn't take me years to lose these babies that's for sure.
