Clothes for post-baby
So I am trying to keep my mind off hte "over it already" mindset as suggested, but everything I seem to divert to still resorts to something post baby. I don't mind this current obsession though because anything is better than...IS IT JUNE YET?!
I obviously got pregnant before I hit goal, or was in the clear to do so. I literally conceived the day after I had to have surgery to repair a small hole in my intestine. (missed pill, plus surgery and doing things on pain meds is a bad idea folks). So, while I haven't lost a lot of weight while pregnant (not my concern) I have lost a lot of inches. I was in a 22/24 when I got my BFP, and now size 18 maternity pants fall off of me. I do not own a single thing below a size 18, and I am getting worried that I will have nothing to wear post baby (as my belly is only thing holding most stuff up!)
How does one plan for this particular need? I don't want to buy a bunch of 16's and they are too small, or I lose a lot of weight right after and need 12/14s...I also don't want my pants to fall off as I leave the hospital LOL
Any thoughts on how to prepare myself (and my closet) for this?

I just had my baby 2 weeks ago tomorrow..I brought sweats in to wear home. I had a c-section and as I do feel my body shrunk..my belly is still awful puffy and my uterous has not shrunk down all the way yet (I actually had just posted a ? about that the other day adn it will take about 6 weeks) So I wouldn't be overly concerned about pants not fitting right away! That is one thing you can relax about!
I agree with the PP. I'd get some athletic pants that can carry you through a few sizes. You'll want to be comfy right after the baby is born anyways. Maybe a 16 or 18. Elastic waist and you'll be good.
P.S. They'll wheel you out of the hospital....no problem with mooning the world!! LOL
Best wishes

Not sure how it works for everyone, but in my experience I still have yet to try on my pre-pregnancy pants. I went in wearing size 14/16...usually size Large comfy stuff fit me rather well. Now, I'm a few days over 6 weeks pp from a C and I still feel all swollen. I've still got about 15lbs to go to get to my pre-oreg weight, but my size XL sweats are a little bit looser, but not where I imagined they would be :( I have NOOOOO shorts so I'm glad that PA has a little bit cooler summers and I have a little more time to get my butt back in gear!
