OT- o no, praying it's nothing.

I finally forced my mom to go to the doctor.  She has been having some strange symptoms that my family and I have been worried about.

Doctor ordered an MRI of her brain to look for MS.  I honestly do not know what I will do if my mom weren't around, physically and mentally.

I know it's not a death sentence, but it's not the best diagnosis.

Anyone know anything about MS and what to expect if it is?

My kind-of-mom (best friend in High School's mom) was diagnosed with MS about 10 years ago.  It really varies from person to person.  I suggest going to the MS website and starting there for the anwsers to your questions.

By the way my kind-of-mom has good days and bad ones, but over all she is doing great.

Thank you.  When I think of MS of course I think of Montel.  But hes a millionaire so of course he is receiving the best treatment available.  Scares the crap out of me though, he symptoms seem to come and go but aren't too severe yet.

One of the men I work with his wife has MS and leads a totoally normal life. They have 2 sons (8 and 10), she works part time (her choice not medically mandated) and is active in their church.
