When I was a young girl, about 13 or 14, I saw the movie Legends of the Fall and fell in love with Aidan Quinn. I vowed that if I ever have a son that that's what I'd name him. Aidan is 10 now and the only child in his age group with that name and spelling (which is the original gaelic way). The name became wildly popular a few years later.

His Dad and I divorced and now my fiance and I are expecting our first child together. His name is Andrew and my name is Angel. He has a 9 year old daughter named Angela. So it's Andy, Angel, Aidan, and Angela. Needless to say we don't want the new baby to feel left out, so it too shall have an A name :)

I think when choosing a name be sure the first and middle flow well. Don't choose a middle name that begins with the same sound as the first name ended with because it sounds weird. Like Amanda Anabella or something. Make sure they have differing syllables too. Like if you pick a first name with many syllables, choose a middle name with one syllable or vice versa. Alexander Chase for instance or Hunter Graham. It has a nicer flow than say Sebastian Zachary.  Just my opinion :) Aidan's middle name is Cayde. Pronouced like Cade but all his names were five letters and it bugged me that his middle name would have four so I threw in the Y LOL. I have OCD when it comes to these types of things!
