So I realize that this is number 4 and I should be able to write a book at this point, but sometimes the RNY part of tis process makes me question things.

My weight last Wednesday, 217. I am still in the loss column, but its up from my lowest during this pregnancy. Yesterday, I weighed in (habit I tried to break but didnt happen) and I was 212. So I thought, ok could be normal not going to stress it. This morning, 210. Now, I know weight loss is to be expected, my OB wasn't concerned when I was still losing, since it is normal so soon after surgery to still lose weight. My biggest concern to the rapid loss, however. I am constantly checking for leaking fluid (my 2nd was a premature rupture baby), and today I have been (incoming tmi) extra damp. I have had to change my clothes three times. There wasn't the sweet smell that I know to watch for, and it's not a gush of fluid.

I don't know if weight loss could be from leaking fluid? Or just normal? My activity and diet have not changed at all so I am kind of at a loss. With the baby gaining rapidly in next few weeks, why am I dropping rapidly?

Last trimester I was all over the charts with weight..up, down, up down....I also went from starving to no appetite at all. I think it's totally normal and a lot of women loose weight towards the end.

As for fluids...I felt like I was constantly soaked and thought about calling my dr quite a few times, but I think it has a lot to do with the baby being down so much lower and putting more added pressure on the bladder.

So happy to hear you're hanging in there and hopefully you make it to that 29 week mark like your dr is saying...Best of luck!
