Hi everyone,

I am 35 weeks pregnant and just about daily suffer with pain around my Lap-Band port. I think my baby favors the right side of my body, unfortunately, and that he tends to shove around my port. This is my first pregnancy, so I was just wondering if this happened to any of you during pregnancy, and if there was anything that you were able to do to make it feel better, aside from taking Tylenol!

Thanks,
Dee

I found an ice pack helpful, some find a heating pad helpful. There's just no way around it; your abdominal wall muscles are being stretched in new and exciting ways, so things are gonna pull and feel funny. Sometimes it goes away and sometimes it comes back.

I so understand!!!!!  I am 31 1/2 weeks pregnant, and have had port pain for the last 3-4 weeks.  I can't take Tylenol, so I've just been using an ice pack and if I'm home and can lie down, I will lie on my right side "(my port is on my left) and she will generally shift that way and reduce the pressure in that area.  So sorry you are suffering with this!
Leslie
