I don't know if it is normal, but I did the same thing. After my daughter, I wasn't sure if I wanted more. My husband did, I didn't, then we'd switch. I had my surgery and we told ourselves, ok we're done. I had to have a second surgery to repair a small hole in my intestine, he scheduled his vasectomy, and we thought ok this is it. Well, thanks to failed birth control, and my husband literally getting too excited in his SLEEP the DAY after my surgery to repair the hole...Here comes jaelyn, no matter what our plans were lol

thanks for the feedback guys.  We are 100 sure we want at least one more.  Sage lovess little kids so I know she would do great!  But she is a mommy cling on also like Bella.  Russ right now is all for not using BC and just seeing what happens.  The problem with that is, we don't have sex too often, maybe a few times a month, so i feel like unless we are "trying" we wont get pregnant for like a year! lol.  I guess we will see what happens, but I don't think there is ever the "perfect" time to have another.  But I would love to have them 2 years apart, I feel like 3 years is too far apart.  My sis and I are 3 years apart but we not super close growing up, we were always on 2 separate pages.

In other news we are looking at houses this sunday!!  So excited, and hopefully we will be able to put in an offer :)

Hey there! I'm sure it's normal...I had such a hard time accepting that my tubes were getting tied...the Dr only asked me like 60 times before and during my c-section if that was for sure what I wanted. It was but it wasn't. Every time she asked I was quick to jump and say yes! and I will admit I have regrets now about doing it :( However, we have the 3 girls, who will be hitting their teenage years starting next year...OH ****!!! And then we had the little guy. When I first found out I was preggo, I was pretty sure this was my one and only, but it's a tough decision for all of us I'm sure.

PS...my little brother and I are 4 years apart and he is like one of my best friends...if that helps any :)

Completely normal.....I've gone back and forth many times......geez....when I was in the delivery room with my first I wanted to back out....lol....TOO LATE!!  I didn't want to be pregnant with # 2, or # 3 until I actually found out that I was pregnant.....if that makes sense.

I don't know if it is normal either...but they are your feelings and they are valid...WOAH!! Did that sound like psychological babble...sorry...my hubby is  a social worker. LOL ....anyway, We also got preggo with #2 the first night in our new house...but we had a reg. mattress on the floor. LOL My first three were a total of 40 months appart...not as ambitious as Lexa but a handful nonetheless.  I wouldn't change a thing!! We tried with #2 for nearly 7 months and had to do 4 cycles of clomid to conceive...it was before WLS...but you never know it could happen right away or it could take time. But the stress of finding a home and moving is tough even not being preggo...I would consider that.  Best of wishes to you!!
