Throwing up air, anyone had this problem?
Hi,
I feel your pain. I had the dry heaves (I believe that is what you are describing) daily for several weeks. I am down to weekly occurances. Once my OB started me on Zofran (the anti-nausea drug they give to chemo patients that it is also approved for morning sickness - it may be called something different in the States), the violence of the dry heaves stopped and I was given respite most days of the week.
One thing is that at least you are not vomitting up the nutrition. It may seem like it would be more of a relief to actually throw-up, but this way, your body/baby gets food.
Good luck, seriously, I know there is nothing worse.
