pelvic exams

When does/did your dr start doing internal exams at your visits?  This is my first pregnancy so all of this is so new to me!  I will be 31 weeks this week, just wondering when to expect him to begin those exams.  Thanks!!!

 I got one at 38 weeks, and then not again until my 6 week post-partum checkup :)

Yah mine was at 37 weeks and again at 6 weeks.

thanks so much for asking!! I start the seeing the Dr every 2 weeks now and I wondered if I was gonna get a pelvic every time or what! At the 35/36 wk mark when they did the pelvic for everyone did they do the strep B then? I know it has to be around 35 wks to be accurate.
