I am in FULL baby mode right now! I have 2 pregnant coworkers, went to a baby shower this past weekend for one of them and there were two other pregnant women there also, I have another baby shower next month for a woman I worked with at my last job, my younger cousin is pregnant with her #2, and my office mate has a little girl who is 18 months old. They're everywhere!!! I got lots of good ideas at this recent baby shower, though - things I didn't know anything about (like Bumbo seats and a bassinet with a long side that folds down so you can scootch it up right next to the bed...). Think it's too early to start a baby registry? :P
I will say I'm a bit nervous about TTC. I only have one ovary (had a 10-inch ovarian cyst that killed my other one, so it was removed during emergency surgery), and I never had regular periods even when I had 2 ovaries, and I have been on hormonal birth control (pills mostly, NuvaRing for the last 2 years) since I was 16 to prevent more cysts from growing. Only time will tell...
