Hang in there!! You so are not alone in this one! Last week, I had the baby blues BIG time and I was singing this sob story...literally sobbing...to my husband. I was feeling like he and I had lost our connection" with each other also. Found out this is a very normal stage and thing to go through, but I'm right there with ya in the SUCKS department. I'm a SAHM too and I have a lot of days like this. This is the main reason why we're actually moving next month. Thankfully, we're not trapped inside by the cold, but with a newborn it is beyond difficult sometimes just to get out of the house...UGH! And the family part- I'm surrounded by family, but it seems like since I found out I was preggo a lot of them dissappeared completely. It hurt, but I realized I really don't need them anyway. They tried to come back around after he was born, but I gave them the same cold shoulder I had been given.

And girl- you're pregnant and you have every reason to be going through emotions like that- degree or not!! I'm sure on a normal day you have your **** together, but we all have bad times too right?? Just don't let the bad outweigh the good..I totally feel your pain and just wanted to send some assurance your way that you are in no way ALONE on this one. Being a SAHM is a tough job and for those that say it isn't....I DARE them to try!! Sure we dont "work" on a paying time clock, but there is really NO downtime or time off (and not knocking any ladies out there who work full time or part time...I would love to be one of ya- I loved being a working girl and this lifestyle is way different)...HUGS!

Thanks Kerri!!! I sometimes tell myself to be thankful that family isn't too close, lol.  I feel so bipolar in this pregnancy....and I didn't have this rollercoaster with my son...he was easy breezy.

I still think I need a swift kick, but I feel better now and I'm sure my DH will give me one if I ask him for it. LOL  Thanks girl!

Not at all alone! I had it so bad that I would just give the kids to daddy and walk away! I think it is a phase and the winter makes it worse! We only had one car and if I needed to go somewhere, I would have to get up really early and get the kids up and ready. They also did not appreciate being waken up, and would not take a nap after. I would have cranky kids all day and try to take them out being like that. My family is all 3 hours away and I am sorry I do not have them closer now. Right now it is bad because DH is unemployed and I have to see him all the time too, so no income but unemployment and I have to see the JA and 3 kids! LOL

Well I guess that turned into my rant! LOL

Aww I am sorry you are feeling this way. I definitely think the pregnancy hormones mixed with this crappy weather is a recipe for depression. Is there a mall nearby you can just go and walk around? I always feel better when I get out of the house...good luck!

Yeah, there is, but I would either have to take the car (which means losing my parking spot on the street = big deal) and pay for parking, or take the bus ($5 trip).  It feels like too much trouble...I know, I'm lazy. :(

My rant is my job.  They don't seem to care that I'm pregnant and very sick.  Today I got a really ****ty email from my boss.  In the email I was basically told that I have not provided medical documentation and due to this I'm on the list to possibly not get a contract for next year.  I have given these people several forms of documentation from my doctors.

I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome.  The pregnancy makes my fatigue so bad that I can't function at times.  On top of that, I have really bad morning sickness.  I hate feeling so sick.  I've been trying to find a new job, but its hard.  I thought about getting my doctor to sign off on letting me stay at home for a few weeks.

What ****** me off even more, is there are 4 other pregnant women at this school.  None of the others have been singled out like I have.  They are all friends with the boss and kiss her ass all the time.

I can totally relate to how your feeling, I suffer from Fibro and Lupus, I was working as a Personal Support Worker and slugging my guts out at work then coming home and laying on the couch cause I couldn't do anything else without throwing up or feeling like I was going to die. I finally decided to go on medical leave before my maternity leave and things have been better. I understand how you are feeling and it SUCKS , I hope the morning sickness passes and you start to feel better soon, as for work, well I know it's hard. Keep trucking and wishing you the best. :)

Can you say EEO claim! I am not one to run anywhere when something is going on but I also love employers who are stupid enough to put things in writing to bury themselves. I actually work in a field to defend my employer at them but I can definitely tell you-you would win hands down. No employer can discriminate against a pregnant employee and if you have already provided them documentation they cant touch you. Good luck!
