Filthy Friday!!

Hey Chelle!!! Happy Friday! (Filthy or not lol) I can honestly say I have no annoyances to bicker about today...YAY!!! Although I have learned the forever told story- sleep when he sleeps!!! I think Landen is going through a growth spurt because he's been very unlike himself starting at about 3 this morning. He normally sleeps through the night, wakes once for a feeding before the girls get up and goes back to sleep...last night- not so much!! He's been up since about 3 and has been cat napping for about 20 minute periods to wake up and scream at me like he's starving. I feed him an oz here and there and he burps and farts and flashes me those pretty blue eyes and closes them only enough to tease me. He finally fell asleep around 11:15 and is laying on the couch right now grunting like there is no tomorrow- his decoded language of- Mom I'm leaving you a nice present in my diaper!! HAHAHA

I so feel ya on your gripe and I thought it would be nice to share- on Sunday Landen will be 1 month old and my husband and I will celebrate 7 months Smoke free!!!! :) I'm so happy to say that and so happy that neither one of us has backslid and gone back to the awful habit since he was born- was def one of my fears! I NEVER thought smoking was such a BAD thing, but since we've quit my outlook has changed- especially when I see a pregnant woman doing it. Shame on me- I smoked for the first 4 months off and on (didn't find out til I was 8 weeks) so technically it took me 2 months to kick the nasty habit, but we did it and I SOOOO know how hard it is, but it CAN be done!!

Hope you're feeling terrif girl and are having a better week. Things any better with your daughter and the BS with her school??? Have a wonderful weekend~~~I'm headed back to "cat nap" some more :) oh...only after I take care of that nice surprise I'm sure is waiting for me LMAO

That really irritates the heck outta me as well! My little sister sat down and started drinking wine, like glass after glass! She was still in the first trimester as well which we all know is crucial for brain development! I was like "why are you drinking?" (coming from someone who quit smoking after YEARS of smoking when I found out I was pregnant with my first). I could not believe it when she said "I am really stressed out and I had a very bad day"! I was like, well expect that baby to be born with FAS because if you think it is bad now!!! IRRITATES ME!!!!
On the smoking thing, I know what you mean! Like I said I quit, and never started back up. My SIL on the other hand smoked 3 packs a day!!! She actually admitted that she went from 2 packs to 3! Now this is also someone that slept more of the day than she was awake, so she constantly had a cigarette in her hand! I felt so bad for the poor baby inside being fumigated!

I have my period, can i ***** about that??

And I honestly think anyone who drinks AT all during pregnancy is completely irresponsible.  O yea, not to mention smoking weed because of "morning sickness" give me a break.  If I hear that excuse one more damn time I will scream.

Can I just be a whiny baby and cry on your shoulders for a moment ladies?

I'm so flippin' lonely!  Since I left work last September to be a SAHM indefinitely, I feel cut off from the world.  I have no SAHM friends, and my closest friends live nowhere near me.  My family all live anywhere from 10-15 hours away and my husband has no immediate family in the US.  Since I'm not working, we're on a tighter budget, which means little trips here and there are out of the question.  Top that off with the fact that it's been so cold, we can't even go outside to the park (and while my son doesn't seem to mind playing in 40 degree weather, since losing weight, I can't seem to tolerate it.)  So we both have cabin fever and he ends up melting down a LOT more than usual because he's just pent up inside with me. We're both very social (direct opposite of my homebody DH)  I've joined mommy groups on meetup.com and they're not very active right now, plus I went to one of the meetups last week and no one else showed up. :(

Now, one would think that all this extra time I have would be spent productively.  My DH did the dishes for me last night after he got home from a long day's work!  I feel like a spoiled brat considering my cir****tances, but I've become a sloth and I can't seem to dig myself out of this slump.  I struggled with some depression during the first trimester, but now that I'm feeling better and have more energy, I have no excuse to be acting this way.  You would think that a person with a master's in counseling would have their sh*t together, wouldn't ya?

On one hand, I want someone to tell me that they've been through this and that it's just a phase...but on the other hand, I think I really just need a swift kick in the rear, though I fear that wouldn't be enough. :( :( :(
