Vitamins causing dumping during pregnancy?
Sounds like your blood sugar bombed. Try a little snack first thing in the morning.
P.S. I agree that if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all ~> but that works both ways. I don't think anyone is out to give you "lip", simply stating the obvious. You either want our support or you don't. You need to decide.

Well being early out it could be a combination of things - make sure you are eating at least 100 grams of carbs a day to keep yourself out of ketosis. You are going to feel like you are constantly easting (and practically you are going to be!) lots of frequents meals / snacks. Staying out of ketosis is IMPERATIVE!
I get the same way sometimes when I take pills. See if you can get a chewable prenatal or spit up when you are taking your pills. I also had to take mine at night right before bed to be able to tolerate them at all!
Good luck and go have some carbs :)

The last time I saw you post, you said you were going to see an RE to start the process...did they give you Clomid or did you conceive naturally? WOW
Are you seeing a doctor regulary? Weekly, High Risk?
Please make sure you write down what happened and you let your doctors know!
Why oh why did you want to conceive this early? I remember you said you were older and had issues like PCOS, right?
We shared what could happen.
See your doctor for the baby's sake~ at least call

OUCH is all I can say......while I don't agree with her decision (to try purposly get pregnant this early out).......I don't agree the delivery of your advice either. I think there is constructive and destructive delivery methods of advice......yes I know tough love sucks.....but after reading your post...why on earth would she want to come back to not only this thread....but this forum? It sounds like you ladies are giving each other cyber high fives......
She is not the first on this forum to get pregnant so soon after surgery and she certainly won't be the last....

I'm not trying to bully anyone. But I specifically remember her post from a couple months ago and re-read it. She got tons of good advice and was very hostile to anyone *****plied. She said she had the Ok from her primary doctor. Now she is obviously pregnant, has no bariatric surgeon, and an OB who hasn't the slighest clue what to do with her or what vitamins she needs to be on. I personally find this to be a form of child abuse, She herself has stated that she has an 18 month old and is (only) 34. So reproduction issues should not have even been an issue.
We are all just rightfully disgusted and trying to convince her to go to a doctor. No one here is really qualified to give medical advice to someone in her condition.

Sounds like a hypoglycemic episode to me. Try to get some sugar in your system if it happens again, then follow it with some protein to stabilize your blood sugar so you don't plummet again. By sugar- I mean something you can tolerate- crackers maybe?
If you're not doing so already, you need to start eating more frequent meals/snacks throughout the day. To prevent this from happening again- if it was a hypoglycemic incident- you need to eat before you get out of bed. Your body is in starvation mode from going all night without food. I had good luck with chewing the heck out of beef jerky. You'll need to give it some time to hit your blood sugar since its protein and takes a little longer to digest. That's why I am saying before you get out of bed. Carbs will work but they are short lived and once the reserve is depleted you will hit bottom big time. A good combination is the way to go.
I have a gastric band and am 6 years post-op and had lots of trouble staying hydrated and eating enough. I ended up having my band completely deflated. I don't have malabsorption issues and I still had trouble with some of my vitamin levels. Keeping up with it all will be very difficult at best.
Please let your husband know what you are facing too. It is his right as this baby's parent. It will also help you in case you continue to have issues, like passing out and other things. Educating him is paramont to helping you have a healthy pregnancy,
Please make sure there's nothing more going on than just this one episode, it could be a warning sign of something more serious. I beg you to consult your WLS and an OB very soon. The first 9 weeks the baby is somewhat self sufficient, make sure you get your vitamin levels where they need to be now. After that it's up to you to produce a healthy baby. I am a speech language pathologist and have worked with hundreds of children who didn't get a fair shake before they were even born. I'm not passing judgement here, but you knew what complications could arise from becoming pregnant so soon out. Early on even you said you'd wait to do this. Let this episode be a wake up call to get medical intervention so that you have a happy healthy baby in 36 weeks.
