Scary feeling today....(kinda long)
So today starts my weekly checkup with my dr....as I am 37 weeks now. Everything seemed to be going normally....HIV and CBC done....STREP B came back negative. I haven't gained any weight since my last visit (so I've only gained 25 total so far
) , Then when it came time for the actual checkup the baby's heartbeat sounded irregular. And the doctor says I am about 2 cm dilated. I got sent to L&D to have it monitored and a high risk doc checked me out. We could see the irregular beat but there seemed to be a small time when it was regular as well. He says he isnt too worried right now as sometimes this can happen with babies and if the beat was too fast that would be more concerning, but its not.
So I was discharged after 2 hours and just told to take it easy and not worry too much....GOOD ONE! Now Im so nervous and anxious. I honestly I have nothing prepared. So tonight my BF and I will be putting the pack n play together, getting the car seat out of the box and making sure the bags are packed.
Im soooo scared right now!!

Starting Sleeve Weight (2/25/13) - 233
Current Weight (7/1/13) - 197
Goal Weight - 175
I'm sorry you had this scare, but as the dr said, he's not concerned. So yes, breathe & relax (as best as you can.) I agree w/Crazy... make a list of everything you want to do before your little one gets here and focus on getting through that list - but not frenetically. Your BF will help you get things together. And the car seat and your hospital bag are the most important things right now.
Good luck, keep breathing, and we're all rooting for you and your little one.
