Alex is 18 months old (with pics)
I can't believe how quickly the time has gone by. I meant to post this earlier but Alex had the stomach flu and was quite sick for a while.
He turned 18 months old on March 6th, 2 days before DH's and my 8th wedding anniversary. By the end of that week, DH and Alex were oozing out of all openings. It was so sad. We even had our first trip to the ER because of dehydration. At his 18 month check-up he had lost weight from the 15 month. He is now 23.3lbs and 31 3/4" tall. So while he had a weight loss, he actually grew 1 1/2". Would still be fitting in 12 month pants/shirts if it weren't for the length. He is starting to speak some phrases, mostly "look daddy!" and "didn't do it!". He is STILL refusing to let me hear him say mommy. He does say it, but only when I'm out of earshot. He can say "shell" for Auntie Richelle. He also thinks it's hilarious when someone farts or burps.
His most recent discovery is that he "honks" boobies. I have NO idea where he figured that one out, especially because he was not breast fed ever! He's also already had 4 haircuts since being 11 months old!.
