Shower question....

I'm old school!  I guess not a surprise, but like we used to say "throw a baby shower". I've done this for friends/family.  I/we took care of everything.  We didn't coordinate with what others would be doing - if they were giving you another shower, good for you.  I think most people still get more than one shower especially if you work or are part of a close group or whatever . . . and if it your first baby.  Probably not tradition anymore to give a shower for the first child and a "sprinkle" for 2nd pregnancy etc.  A friend of mine had 7 single pregnancies and wanted a shower for each.  It was like a blow to the pockets after a while.

After all the showers and gifts and stuff I did and gave and all the time I waited, I want a series of surprise showers.  I don't care what I am wearing.  It will be a miracle, so no rejection on this end.  Funny I don't like any attention.  I've never had a party for me so I would gladly take it any way it comes.
