Thanks for clarifying. i totally did not intend for it to sound as though i was upset that i hadnt lost.that truly was not my intention. was simply curious about what might happen after the baby. totally understand that we are all different so there is no one answer. was just looking for input. certainly wish now that i hadnt posted at all. i see how someone couldve missed the point but i did say that weight loss isnt the most important thing right now & that i was wondering about AFTER. i thought I was clear but apparently not clear enough. certainly was surprised by the severity of the attacks. i regret mentioning my degrees as well. i dont normally do that. they are certainly no big deal & make me no better than anyone else. I know that but just felt the need to mention that since i felt like i was being addressed by some on here as though I was a total idiot or a little girl who knew nothing about anything. my children are my entire world and ALL that matters is their health & well being. i of course hope to lose more weight after my baby is born and know that Im gonna have to work for it. was just looking for others experiences. wanted to know if it was easy like right after surgery, harder like it was for all of us before surgery or somewhere in between? thats really all.

I have lurked on this site for a couple of years, but never totally engaged for fear of what happened to you. I thought it was a good question. I did not think there was any reason for you to be flamed the way you were. I know people are going through M/C and fertility issues...which I also have dealt with for over 11 years, but when you become bitter and resentful towards people who perhaps have an unplanned pregnancy when you are trying so hard to get or stay pregnant it is not fair to you or the person you are taking your frustration out on. I personally feel (just my opinion which I am entitled to) that that is what happened to you. You just caught the brunt of some peoples own personal frustration. I wish you all the best on your pregnancy and subsequent weightloss.
Thank you. you are very kind. I appreciate your support. You didnt indicate if you are still experiencing fertility issues or not. If so, I pray that everything works out for you & that you are soon blessed & have all your dreams come true. If you are not still having difficulty than a big fat congratulations to you. my best friend of 30+ yrs is struggling with infertility and along with me being shocked by my own pregnancy and terrified because I was pregnant so soon after surgery, I had intense guilt and questioned repeatedly, why me & not her. sometimes doesnt make any sense. with that said, now that i know my baby will be healthy I am thrilled but my heart still breaks for her & all others who are having such trouble. it really isnt fair & i totally get that! thank you for understanding!

I just want to say that Chelle is like the Aunt here on Pregnancy after WLS. She knows all too much about the risks and trials that occur with it. She has the right to speak out and be harsh~
Maybe everyone should realize that popping in a few times to take their advice and support means you also learn you may be wrong~
I have learned the truth from these statements are very precise and attitudes do flare; simply because we are talking about a little person (BABY) who has no say and an adult could be acting stupidly & selfishly. They rightfully stick up for the little guys!
Shalom

she does not have the right to be harsh, call me selfish, call me a liar or any of those things. its rude & heartless. my pregancy was totally unplanned, i was using birth control. my total concern has been for the health of my baby. i dont care about losing weight until AFTER my baby is born. No one on a support site should be attacking another human being who as valid questions. Its really just not right.

I will admit harshness is a bit extreme. However, it is the Truth! When many of us speak up around here on this board it is because, again, we are speaking up for the BABY!
I am happy to hear you are not worried about loosing weight until the baby is born. How is it getting your vitamins in? Have you been working with a nutritionist? Is it hard getting all your water in? I know some days without being pregnant my pouch gets a bit upset with vitamins, graham crackers have become a necessary evil for me. Tracy I am happy for your blessing, please know that.

I think a lot of negativity has come over to this board from "The Bump" I could not stand even posting on there because you get ripped up, down and sideways.
I think sometimes we all need to remember that we all need help at different times with our pre pregnancy, during and post pregnancy questions. This is our online support from people that have been there and done that, and it is the one site where I did not feel stupid saying anything to you ladies because I know at least one of you have been through it.
As far as Chelle, are you OK? Seriously I cannot remember Ever seeing you go off on anyone like that. I hope all is well with you!
Also, sometimes there are some women that BC does not work on as well as others with or without WLS. I got Pregnant with my first using 2 kinds of BC. That was long before WLS. I have always had a problem with any med even antibiotics working for me.
