Some ?s for the Experienced Mommies out there
1. I have not used it, but a friend of mine does and says it actually works towards the source of the tummy ache.
2. I sit LO up on my lap and support his head by holding his chin and pat. He is a tough burper as well.
3. I should buy stock in Mylicon! It helps him break up the gas bubbles just like Gas-x does for us.
4. If you are breast feeding, try dropping a couple drops of breast milk in his eyes. Most pro breast milk Pedi's know that trick.
I had all mine natural, so no help with the c-section, sorry.
As far as props, our boppy pillow was a huge help to get the baby in just the right positions especially the propped up on the tummy ones. Also our photographer had a bunch of different knitted hats and all the cute things. If you want the naked baby photos, you are going to need a really fluffy warm blanket, because they get cold so fast, and the blanket is a MUST in between shots. Our session lasted 4 hours because he kept getting cold and waking up. In all we got some really cute shots!

Lianne,
Thanks for the ideas! I wish I was breastfeeding :( The dr did recommend this, but that ones out for me. The boppy is a great idea I never would have thought of. Will def be taking his big fluffy blankie since we're planning on doing the nakey shots. :)
One question- I have given Landen a few doses of Mylicon, but I'm always afraid that you shouldn't give them too much of it??? I know the label says only so many doses in so long, but is it really ok to give it to them that many times a day?
Thanks again :)

Lay him on his back and do the "bicycle" motion to get the gas out. Sage was super gassy, so i did that and mylicon which works wonders. Never tried gripe water.
as for the c-section, Sage is almost 1 and it's still numb.

Thanks Apryl! My incision is also very very low and underneath my panni, but now my panni is numb and seems very heavy and saggy. If the numbness doesn't go away completely, I would just be happy with the heaviness decreasing just a little bit. It comes and goes and increases in numbness it seems. When I wake up in the morning, it's just a small area that's numb, but by the end of the night...yikes and ugh!!!
Hey I got 2 more similac coupons in the mail today...would you like me to send them to you?? :)
