provera questions

I have not had a period since about Dec 12th.  I called dr on 3-2 and got rx for provera.  I have been on that in the past as I have pcod and although not that many probs with period I was trying to get pg at the time and would need to take it to have periods start on time.  I though you usually get your periods within 14 days after taking the last pill.  I have in the past usually started withing 5 days of taking last pill.  Well I have 4 more days until 14 days and no sign of period.  I am 43 so maybe I am menopausal??? Anyone else not start period after taking provera?

Which dosage did they put you on? 10 days or 5 days?

If it was the 10 day then it could take a little longer for AF to show.

Usually on the 5 days I start about 3-5 days after I end.

Also have you POAS lately?

I normally take it for 10 days and it can take up to 7 days after that to get my period. I take it for cycle regulation due to PCOS and because we want to TTC. I have sometimes had to take a 2nd round of pills but that was not often. I would check with your doc.

Also I havent poas just because I know there is not a possibility I am pg.  Due to severe sickness between myself and hubby month of Nov & Dec nothing happened and I did have period in Dec.  Actually I had usual period early part of Dec then started again about a week before Christmas.  I am gonna call dr and see if I should worry or just take another round or what.  We are not "really" ttc although doing nothing to prevent it cause we would love to have another but with my age just not sure that is possible.
