How far along were you when you had your baby shower?

with my son I had it in Novemebr and had him the end of December and this one Im doing it two months early because Im having twins.

Here is a link for the Baby Showers Board on The Bump. Highly entertaining and actually full of pretty good knowledge. Nothing like hundreds of hormonal women bickering daily about what is "right" (me included lol).
I always thought around 32 weeks was a good time. That way you are not too enormous, still have a little energy, and some time left to get anything else you need without rushing.

As you know, I just had mine at 25 wks, but the reason I had mine this early was purely a scheduling reason...our church where it was held, is booked up and this was the only available Sunday we could do it before my baby arrives.  I was thinking around a month before the baby is due is a good time to have a shower, but I still think it's totally fine to do it early too :-)

With Sami I was due early Sept. I had my first shower Mid July and one early Aug.  There was also a shower type carry in at work somewhere in between.  I tried for 15 years to get preg.  That was the excusse they gave me for having so many.

This time I am not due till early Nov.  So I do not know yet

I might be wrong on this or maybe it's just a "thing" around here. I am not anywhere near the baby stages that you guys are...I'm still losing and want to wait a couple more years before TTC....but don't you only get a baby shower with your first baby??

thats the proper way... but i think every baby should be celebrated... i didnt have one with my 2nd.. i had a come and meet the baby type thing... this one i will be having a shower...
