Need a high risk doc in Arizona.....please help
First, congrats on your BFP!!
Second, our surgery alone doesn't dictate high risk pregnancy. I am currently seeing my regular OB for mine, and I got pregnant very early out. Your age may play a factor in high risk, but from what I know it doesn't mean an automatic need for High Risk specialist. Unless there is more health reasons you need High risk, you should be able to see your regular Gyn/OB.
I am seen on the Westside at Palm Valley Women's Care by Dr. Sun. I absolutely adore him, and his staff. Where in AZ are you located?

Hi Nadia (My sister's name :-) )
Welcome. Wow, 11 yrs, awesome, I will be 8 this yr in August. Not knowing your history, unsure of the reasons you would need to see a high risk dr, (age, medical, previous pregnancy issues, etc) but the surgery itself does not mean you will be high risk. Especially at 11 yrs post op your body has maintained and adjusted to the surgery and food intake, etc
You will probably have to increase your vitamin intake but other than that unless blood tests show otherwise business as usual. Good Luck on your pregnancy.
