Having clothes issues
So I live in Ontario and as far as I have found there is 2 maternity clothes stores. I have been to both now and I am so depressed. It's been awhile since I couldn't find anything to fit in a store. It was very depressing I cried all the way home.
My question is now what the heck am I going to do for work clothes? Where else can I go or try? I know there has to be bigger women who have gotten pregnant what do they were? I'm almost 6mths I still have a little while to go.
Sorry I'm just very upset by this today.

I have no clue about what stores are in Canada, but I wore around a size 20 when I got pregnant and I shopped at Target cause they carried up to XXL in maternity clothes there which fit, and also Motherhood Maternity which carried plus sizes. JC Penny has plus size maternity clothes online, they do run a little small though. Good luck to you, it was super hard for me to find anything that fit right and comfortable too, so when I found something I got multiples of it.
Dawn,
That is one of my biggest fears! With my extra skin and fat, whether or not I will be able to fit into maternity clothes! I'm so sorry you had a bad experience :(
What size do you normally wear?
I've been keeping some of my nice work clothes as they become too big so that I can use them as maternity clothes down the road if needed. Depending on how much weight I lose, it may or may not work.
Have you tried a resale store like goodwill? They have a maternity section there that has all sizes. They also have a nice selection of plus size clothes, maybe you could find some clothes in a size or two bigger than you normally wear that will fit you nicely? Ebay? Walmart has a plus size section, you might find some nice things there?
Good luck!
Edited to add: I LOVE this website! Its very informative about plus size pregnancy. (I'm not sure if you are considered a plus size pregnancy, but thought it may be helpful!) Here is a link about finding maternity clothes in Canada and other countries. http://www.plus-size-pregnancy.org/PlusMat%20Clothing%20FAQs/PlusMat-abroad.html

Sadly, Old Navy doesn't carry maternity clothing here any more :( I am smaller but I've been finding great clothing in places like Value Village, Good Will. Something like that might change your luck! There is a belly band you can purchase though that you wear with your regular pants. I think you can purchase those at the maternity clothing store! Not sure how comfortable they are but it might be worth a shot :)
I know it's a bit of a long shot...but I found most of my clothes in local thrift stores. They are usually pretty good about separating out sizes so a 'good' thrift store should have the maternity already pulled out.
I also recommend ebay...it's a bit of a pain 'cause you can't try anything on, but you can still find some good deals on there...
Good luck!!!
Are there any particular sizes you are looking for?
I'm on my countdown-9 days to go...and I won't be needing my maternity clothes (hopefully) after that. If shipping isn't too much and I have the sizes you need, I could ship you some...

I'm not sure I'm so confused about the sizing. I found a pair of stretchy matenity motherhood pants at value village that are a 1X but nothing I tried in the store or at Thyme XXL fit. I was wearing an 18 maybe even 20 in some clothes before pregnancy but I have gained a lot in my hips, ass and thighs argh.
