swelling in one foot/ankle only?

Hi Everyone,

For the past couple of days I have noticed swelling in my left foot/ankle and not my right.  It gets better if i put my feet up, but when I am at work it sure gets puffy.

Should I be concerned?

 

I think it needs to be hot and red in the calf area to be a DVT(deep vein thrombosis) - but it may just be swelling popping up on one side only
. The fact that the swelling goes down when you rest it sound like it's just pregnancy related. Are you on your feet all day at work?

ps I'm not a professional, just what I've been reading.

Thats the way mine always is. Left is huge but not going down with feet up. Doc said its ok.

I was like that with my last pregnancy but it was my right foot and the left was fine... totally drove my nutty... Mine didnt get better until after I had my twins
