I am about a year out and hubby and I are going to start trying for a baby now!  YAY!!!!!

Unfortuneatly hubby was diagnosed with low sperm count. He has 17mil, and according to my doc he should have 40 mil....BUT according to every where else I have researched he should have at lease 20 mil!!???  So its still low, but maybe not as low as we orginially thought?

Anyways, got off track.....I was just reading up a lot about preseed. Apparantly it has helped a lot of couples concieve. Lord knows I am willing to try ANYTHING, and I just wanted to know if any of you ladies would give me your take on this product. I will be on this forum a lot more often since we are trying now. I started my ovulation cycle yesterday, and I am praying that his swimmers swim hard and make it to my egg....!

Thanks for your help and advice   :)

We tried for 7 months with no luck. On the 8th month I decided to get some Pre seed and I was so ready to try anything like you! Well we only did it on day 12 and day 15 of my cycle and we got pregnant the very first month! I recommend it! I was leery for sure and I was so sad that we tried for so long and nothing! We do not know what caused us to not be able to conceive but the Pre seed was the solution.

I got it at the pharmacy for under $20

Oh my goodness thanks for the hope! Sometimes I feel so alone in this! In my church there are a lot of couples trying to have babies with no luck. But the infertility is with the lady, and as of recently they all have started to get pregnant! Our situation is so different, so I feel alone. Nobody to give me hope or nobody that has been in my situation that has had success. But anyway...once again I got off track.  Thanks so much for giving me hope!  :)

Good luck! I hope it works for you! Pre Seed is a lot cheaper than Dr. intervention that is for sure. I know a lot of people complain about the cost.

no advice to offer, just wanted to say good luck.  you and I are close in surgery dates and I have enjoyed your posts and following your progress.  I am currently 28 weeks pregnant (got pregnant while on b/c when I was only 5 months out)

P.S.  I have low carnintine levels and while doing research on this I do remember reading that L-carnitine supplements increase sperm counts.  Might be worth looking into or trying.

Good luck!

We tried for 6 yrs to get pregnant before I had WLS then starting trying when I was 17 months out and used Pre-seed during the 2nd month of trying and got pregnant....I believe Pre-seed helped, but ultimately believe in the power of prayer and faith....believe in miracles my friend, I love the end of your signature...God is definitely still in the miracle business...praying for you to get pregnant soon :-)

I tried to get pregnant for about 5 months and we had no luck. I know they say it can take about a year for a couple trying to conceive. I heard of the Preseed and got it at the pharmacy and that month I got pregnant. I do not know if it was coincedence but, I believe in it! Good luck!

Don't want to be a debbie downer, but we have used Preseed for 15 months and nothing.  Granted, I had polyps on my uterus, so that could be a preventing factor.  We are starting again and still using it.  Hey if nothing it is wonderful for those days you don't want to be romantic and just want to get down to bidness!  Trust me, after 15 months of trying you tend to lose the romance a lil bit lol!
