Had 32 week ultra-sound and got a HUGE suprise....

I was told at my 20 week ultrasound that I was indeed having a  girl, the tech was awful, the experience was not good at all........but today I had an ultrasound to measure the baby and found out that I'm indeed having a BOY! I KNEW it from the day I found out I was pregnant...did the ring on a string thing, chinese gender predictors, ect all said boy...she said girl...well low and behold I'm growing a healthy little boy indeed...he's head down already and quite active indeed! I'm so BEYOND excited and happy! Here's to team BLUE!!

Now the fun stuff...time to return/exchange and buy boy things! YAY!

Wow what a shock! I am glad you seem happy about it though. I am such a planner that something like that would devastate me....have fun picking out blue things!

Wow, that is a shock, but I have heard of if happening.  friend of mine was told she was having a boy her entire pregnancy and just gave birth to a girl.....

I would have some redecorating to do if this happen to me lol.............

 What a shock.  I wish that I was having another ultrasound to confirm girl.  My husband has made the comment that it could still be a boy and only delivery will tell, LOL.  I think he keeps looking at the old wives' tale about baby's heartbeat and sees that this one has been 141 since 12 weeks.  

My little man has been between 142-146 hb per minute since early on as well. Maybe your hubby is right hahaha!

I am still in "shock" but totally elated! I have to admit that being a planner myself has made me grateful I have at least 7-8 weeks left to re-prepare mentally and physically for having a little man instead of a little lady! I think if I would have found out at birth instead of with at least a little time left I would have had a minor anxiety attack hahaha!

 OMG Thats nuts.  But congrats that you are having a boy! i have been having these strange feelings throughout my own pregnancy that the tech was wrong and i am having a girl.  When we had our 20 week....she said she was about 97% sure its a girl and is usually NEVER wrong...but my baby had been too stubborn to open her legs wide enough for us to see.  All subsequent US same problem...baby doesn't like to be on screen LOL.  But I am having a final US this coming Monday and hopefully will know for sure that its a girl.  Don't get me wrong, I want a little girl in the worst way, but i also don't want to be surprised the day of if I don't have to be.  LOL.. Anyway, congratulations again and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!

Hey Barby!  Glad you found out now.  Have fun exchanging the pink stuff for blue stuff.  I'm Jewish and tradition dictates that nothing is to be brought into the home for the baby until the baby is born.  Um... yeah... that's not happening in our house!  We'll wait until I'm well into my 2nd trimester and into the safe zone... then we'll shop shop shop!  LOL.
