No, I'm not pregnant :) But we are taking a trip to San Diego in July, and we will start "trying" around that time (I don't want to be pregnant during the trip), so I've got about 4 months to get myself into baby-carrying shape! I will be 2 years out from my surgery at the end of this month (a DS with super long common channel, sort of like a VSG with proximal RNY malabsorption), so no worries about it being too early. I've already gotten the green light from my gyn's office at my annual exam last month.
Oh, the list of concerns I'm sure most of you have thought about as well! I have heard of some women experiencing significant weight regain with pregnancy while others end up only gaining a few pounds and easily shed them after the birth. Wondering if my pre-op type 2 diabetes will rage as genstational diabetes (or even hang around afterwards as type 2 again).
But before any of those concerns, I need to start exercising regularly and eating better. I've gotten VERY lazy, partly as a result of being a workaholic, so I am starting a new job a week from today and hope it will provide me the opportunity for a better work-life balance that will allow me to focus more on myself.
I never reached my weight loss goal, so I'd like to see how much more I can lose in the next 4 months or so and get as close to goal as I can. Again, the lack of recent weight loss points back to the workaholic issue, so I have to change my mindset to be able to prioritize ME.
Anyway, hello, board!

Welcome to the board!
We have a great group of ladies that can usually answer any question that comes up.
I am currently 23 weeks pregnant and I never got to goal weight either. I have actually lost about 15 lbs total since finding out I was pregnant.(not sick or anything, not sure why I was loosing lol) I am starting to gain now and I am a little nervous about it, but my doctor told me to just keep doing what I am and I will not gain too much weight.
I hope your new job works out better for you. Being pregnant will slow down a workaholic believe me, I am so much slower now! lol

Then maybe it's a good thing I'm not already pregnant when starting my new job - want them to know I'm not always slow!
