1 more week of 1st trimester!

I am soooo thankful I've made it this far! 1 more week and then I can start to breathe easier. We are not telling anyone on FB until 14 weeks though. I can feel a small lump above my pelvic bone :)  I have to celebrate small steps here.
So, this may seem a little crazy but yesterday I was looking at highchairs online all day. I was destined to find one with no cloth covers. I know they are the norm nowadays but hell with my 13yr old....I don't even know how many times I dragged hers outside to hose it down on the driveway.  Remembering this sent me into panic attack and so I just HAD to order one from Amazon...because what if they stop making the one I want?! LOL. I bought a Chico Polly vinyl covered in Miro print. Just had to brag....isn't it cool? And totally pressure-washable!

Speaking of which, I saw some pretty scary looking highchairs on their. A couple of them looked like torture devices from "Saw 3". Who designs this stuff?

::giggles:: I can just imagine taking the highchair out with the kid in it covered in peas or something and hosing them both off at the same time! Cleaning and bathtime all in one!

Seriously, I don't know why they make these highchairs with cloth covers now. Who wants to throw it in the washing machine every few days? My daughter had a plastic covered fisher price highchair and damned if I didn't wipe that whole thing down everyday with a wet rag & bleach. especially in the "self-feeding stage"...gross!

We found a wood with plastic tray highchair at Target. The pad is removeable and we LOVE IT!!!! Congrats in the 12 weeks I just hit that milestone too

That is the chair I have just a different pattern. The second chair is just plain ugly!

Amy do you like it? I am happy that it doesn't have crotch bar sticking up from the seat itself. That just seems so uncomfortable when the kid is older & using it as a booster. The only other option for vinyl covered was a peg-pergo and I didn't like the reviews it had. Or the $$$$$ price tag lol.

I do like it. Folds pretty flat to store away and washes fairly easy. The crotch bar part is attached to the tray and is also removable.

Chelle... I remember when you let the BFP outta the bag!  Yay for making it t0 12 wks so far!  I'm sure the next 28 wks will be awesome too!

I just got the same high chair from a friend but the tan with orange trim one. I found it on babiesrus.com for 109. I like it (obviously haven't used it) but am taking it to my moms house as we have no room at all for a high chair! We plan to have a chair that hooks on the table.
