My Birth Story -

You have such beautiful babies! Congratulations! They are precious! As far as Tyler goes... I have a 7 year old who was 3 when my 2nd son was born and my sons are now 7, 3 and I have a newborn. What i did was went to Walmart and bought the Elmo baby doll. He comes with a bottle and a diaper, he cries, wets, etc... & My oldest had one and now my 2nd son has one and I bought it so they can do to Elmo what I do with the baby. They have to feed and take care of Elmo just like I do to baby Gavin and they feel included. It helps them understand what is going on as well. I also give them mommy time and I give them baby time too. They get to spend time with Gavin so they understand he is part of the family and do not resent him. It works for us. I hope that helps. Thanks so much Michele, atleast I feel others have encounter the same. I like the ELMO doll idea, as Tyler loves ELMO. That's how he got motivated to potty train...ELMO's potty training DVD..LOL..Anyway, thanks so much for the compliments and also great advice. I'll keep everyone updated on my progress.

congrats! you have a beautiful family. Ask him to help out with the baby which should allow all of you bonding time. Remind him how awesome of a big brother he is and when the baby is sleep or whenever your husband can watch her, spend time with your son by reading a book or going for a walk. good luck :)

congrats!!! shes precious!!!... your son is angry- thats normal.. keep trying to include him so he doesnt feel left out... after you have healed a bit take him on mommy and me trips.. just you and him.. allow him to help feed her, change her, pick her clothing ( i know i know... i picked the 2 i wanted her to wear and let jayson pick which one he liked best) .. after the newness of this wears off and that he cant put her back- he will come around..have your husband take him to the park and one on one trips... hell make him a cake lol

LOL...Lexa I can always count on you to make me laugh. you are too cute with that."make him a cake"..LMAO!! You know what though, I'm going to do that..LOL..I'll order it rather (wink) and have them put on the cake congrats on being a "New Awesome Brother"...Thanks sweetie for the advice.
