7 week and can't stop puking
I am still so sick. They will not give me meds. I spend all day puking. I have lost 10 more lbs in a week. They say ride it out. I am ok.
I don't feel so alright. My chest cold is so bad that now I am coughing up blood, due to rawness and dryness. My mouth and lips are so dried out that they too are bleeding.
I am calling again today to beg for help. My PCM just stinks. He says to call everyone else. Surgeon says to call PCM for colds.
UGH. I haven't gotten much food down in a week. And forget the meds and vitamins... I puke the minute it hits my pouch. Only think keeping me moving is Water. So, I drink drink drink. I have the worst headache as well. But I am sure that is due to dehydration and not eating.
Have new U/S on Wednesday. I am excited about that. If my PCM will not help me, I am gonna request my OB put me in for IV Fluid. I simply need some TLC.

If your PCM won't give you anti-nausea meds, try some vitamin B6. You can get it over the counter at Target, Walmart, etc. Lots of our OB patients were told to take B6 for the nausea...I would call your PCM first though to make sure it isn't contraindicated with any other meds you may be on or other medical conditions. Good luck!
Sorry you're having such a hard time. If you are able to keep water down, at least try to get in protein water. I think kelloggs has a protein powder that you can add to water. it's not as much protein as a protein shake/drink, but it's certainly better than no protein at all. Being only a few months out from your RNY, you need as much protein as possible. And I totally hear your frustration about your PCM and ur Bari surgeon pointing the finger to the other. Le Suck! Hopefully your OB can help. But really try to get in as much protein as you can.
I'm sorry you are so sick. I can't believe your dr is telling you to ride it out. I was puking a lot for the first half of my pregnancy and due to the weight loss my ob immediately offered me Zofran to stop the vomiting. I also could vomited vitamins as soon as they hit so I just quit taking them and my ob agreed that it was better to puke less then try to take in the vitamins. I would really push your ob for something to help with the vomiting. Not good for you or baby.
